There are several ways of finding accommodation from abroad.

If you know someone in Denmark who can do viewings for you, you can choose the basic package. Alternatively, the standard package includes viewings by our housing agents. Information on both packages is available here.

We also offer a number of dedicated relocation packages, in collaboration with Dejlige Days Welcome.

Plus package – 12.000 DKK + VAT

You will begin with a Phone/Skype/Facetime meeting with one of our consultants, offering advice specific to your situation about moving to Copenhagen. This can include information about spouse network, childcare, pharmacies, doctors, sports etc. You can ask everything! Meanwhile, we will help you through the entire rental process, including inspections. After viewings we will send you pictures and give you our opinion of the area, rent level and the accommodation. We will go through the lease contract, negotiate rent where possible, etc. After you have a signed lease you will get a written local guide with a personal map, prepared by Melanie Haynes, which will cover information about your area in Copenhagen and is tailored to your needs to help you settle in. The fee is divided into two: a start-up fee (non-refundable) of 6.000 DKK + VAT and a success fee of 6.000 DKK + VAT.

Please see our Terms and Conditions for the full guidelines of working with Copenhagen Housing.

Deluxe package – First months rent + VAT

The deluxe package includes everything in the plus package as well as a ‘housing tour’. This means you will be picked up at your preferred destination and driven to view a number of housing options, matching your housing demands and criteria. The tour can be over 1-3 days, and at the end we will have a meeting where you will hopefully choose your new home. The package also includes assistance with the move-in inspection, which is a legal Danish requirement when a landlord and tenant sign a rental contract. This package includes all of the relocation services as described in the Plus package: full guidance on moving to Copenhagen for you and your family, a local guide with tips and information about your new neighbourhood and much more…

Please see our Terms and Conditions for the full guidelines of working with Copenhagen Housing.

No matter if you’re in the process of moving or if you already live in Copenhagen, Melanie from Dejlige Days Welcome can help you settle in and give you a great start to living in Copenhagen. Read all about Melanie and Dejlige Days Welcome at

Through our work at Copenhagen Housing we have seen that a challenge when relocating to a new country is meeting new people.

Our goal is that all of our clients don’t just get a roof over their heads but also settle in as well as possible in Denmark. That is why we – in collaboration with Melanie Haynes – will be arranging networking events for our international clients and their spouses, to help with the challenge of meeting people and settling into Copenhagen.
